Generation
Grace Academy

At Generation Grace Academy, we prioritize the health and safety of all children in our care through a multifaceted approach. Secure entry systems, 24/7 surveillance cameras, and meticulous child supervision records work in tandem to ensure a safe environment. Meanwhile, our commitment to health is demonstrated through regular screenings, rigorous sanitization protocols, and strict adherence to vaccination and allergy management guidelines. Together, these measures create a nurturing and secure atmosphere for both children and parents.

Our commitment

  • Secure Entry System At Generation Grace Academy, ensuring the safety of our students is our top priority. To that end, we've implemented a secure entry system, requiring all parents and guardians to sign in and out in a logbook, located at the main entrance. This is further enhanced by a door passcode system, accessible only to authorized personnel.
  • Surveillance Cameras We have 24/7 security cameras installed throughout the facility, monitoring both indoor and outdoor spaces, to maintain a constant watchful eye over the premises. This provides an extra layer of security to ensure the well-being of our students.
  • Child Supervision Record Each teacher is responsible for maintaining a child supervision record, which is a meticulous log of the kids under their care. This record is updated in real-time as children arrive and leave, ensuring we always know the status of each child's presence in the facility.
  • Name to Face Checks Our staff conducts "name to face" checks to ensure that each child is accounted for, especially when transitioning from one activity or area to another. This involves the teacher verbally acknowledging each child while making eye contact, providing a further assurance of each child's safety and well-being.
  • Transition Protocols The "name to face" checks are particularly important during transitions. Any time a child moves to a new area, such as from the classroom to the playground or from the dining area to the nap room, a teacher will perform a "name to face" check. This ensures that all children are safely accounted for during every stage of their day at Generation Grace Academy.
  • Regular Health Screenings To ensure the well-being of all children, staff, and families, we conduct regular health screenings at the point of entry. This includes a quick temperature check and a brief questionnaire about recent symptoms or exposure to contagious diseases.
  • Sanitization Protocols High-touch surfaces, toys, and common areas are sanitized multiple times throughout the day, following recommended health guidelines. All classrooms are equipped with hand sanitizers and cleaning materials that are safe for children but effective in killing germs.
  • Nutritious Meals and Snacks Nutrition plays a crucial role in the health and well-being of our children. Our kitchen staff prepares balanced meals and snacks that not only meet but exceed USDA nutritional guidelines. All meals are prepared in a sanitized kitchen, and children are encouraged to wash their hands before and after eating.
